Andrea,born in Turin (Italy), moved to London in 1996. After spending his first year improving his English language skills, he then began a degree in Graphics Media at the London College of Printing, specializingin Illustration and Photography.
By chance, or destiny, most of his friends began working in fashion and so to spend time with them he would often be on set at photoshoots and as well as fashion shows. While recording his experiences in the fashion world and in London, he also learned about set design and props, initially helping and assisting. He immediately loved all aspects of this magical world made of props, fake walls, imaginary spaces, characters and so on and decide to embark on a career in set design.Since then he has collaborated with almost all the most important fashion magazines and publications in the world from Vogue Italia, British Vogue, Dazed, I-d, LOVE and many more.
He has worked with many influential photographers such Paolo Roversi, Nick Knight and Mert & Marcus,and clients include Versace, Giorgio Armani, Bally and others. He has been commissioned to design the concept store Machine-A in London, and the pop-up store for Corto Moltedo in Jakarta. On top of that, Andrea also has a passion for window displays and has worked on the Hermes windows for the UK market, Selfridges,Top Shop and Browns. During fashion week he has collaborated with different client from Charlotte Olympia, Roksanda Illilic, Nazir Mazar,Markus Lupfer and Isa Arfen.
The new movemen tof fashion film has opened another window to explore moving image and learning about films. Andrea started to work on shorts with a new life-style platform called Semaine learning more about production design and art direction for moving images.
